Storyboard Text

  • Macbeth closes his eyes and ponders, as if saying final goodbye to Duncan.
  • Macbeth suddenly drops the dagger
  • Clunk!
  • Macbeth suffers from hallucination, a ghost appears in the form of his deceased grandmother.
  • Quit my sight! This must only be imagination for mine great grandmother, whom I love deeply was long gone from the realm humans live in, Mine dome, painful with battling sentiments, the guilt, forms such wicked hallucination in the shape of someone I love, which haunts me ever, hath taken control in mine trembling head and halts me from murder!
  • HALT! HALT! HALT!! Do not let kindness be gone with the ghastly wind of the night! Mine noble young Macbeth, must not murder the sleep! Do not Spoil the Milk of Human Kindness!
  • !!!
  • OUT! QUIT FROM MY SIGHT, BACK TO NOTHINGNESS YOU GO, WHY MUST YOU MANIPULATE MINE OWN MIND IN FAUX SILHOUETTE OF SOMEONE I CARE? LEAVE FOR THOU EXISTS NOWHERE BUT FOR MIND PLAY, EXIT, HORRIBLE GHOST!
  • Macbeth shouts out of fear, Duncan is startled by the screaming.
  • Present thyself! For only cowardly figures hides in the pitch black darkness, the king hath awoken, duel with me, foul intruder!
  • Duncan is awake, Macbeth picked up his dagger and hides in the shadows
  • Now I am troubled, for old King hath awoken, risks occur if I duel him face to face, with shadow as my cloak, ease of escape I shall make, but such golden opportunity would be wasted. Conflict between mine burning desire for power against guilt and kindness hath troubled the deed of cold blooded murder, mine emotions must be gone, they must hunt me no more, for such feminine sentiments shalt achieve nought! The ghost was nothing but mind play, I must murder Duncan. While I threat, he lives. Words to the heat of deeds too cold breath gives!
  • Macbeth is at a predicament on whether to kill Duncan or escape
