Storyboard Text

  • When shall we three meet again? In thunder, lightning, or in rain? When the hurly-burly’s done, When the battle’s lost and won. That will be ere the set of sun. Where the place? Where the place? There to meet with Macbeth.
  • All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, thane of Glamis! All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, thane of Cawdor! All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!
  • ?!
  • This is the sergeant Who like a good and hardy soldier fought 'Gainst my captivity. Hail, brave friend! Say to the king the knowledge of the broil As thou didst leave it.
  • O valiant cousin! Worthy gentleman!
  • Great Glamis, worthy Cawdor, Greater than both, by the all-hail hereafter, Thy letters have transported me beyond This ignorant present, and I feel now The future in the instant.
  • My dearest love, Duncan is coming here tonight.
  • We gladly welcome you as our guests, with gratitude for both the honors you’ve given us before and the new honors you’ve just given us.
  • Look, here comes our honored hostess!
  • If you weren’t a man, then what kind of animal were you when you first told me you wanted to do this? When you dared to do it, that’s when you were a man. And if you go one step further by doing what you dared to do before, you’ll be that much more the man.
