Willy's Water Cycle Part 1
This storyboard does not have a description.
Hi! My name is Willy the Droplet. And, I am here to show you my journey through the water cycle. Here we go!
Solar radiation causes me to turn from a liquid to a gas. This process is called evaporation.
Transpiration is when a plant like me takes in water through the roots. Unwanted water by me is given off as water vapor.
I am now a cloud. After transpiration, the given off water vapor cools and condenses and turned me into a cloud.
I caused this rain. This is a form of precipitation. Forms of precipitation are rain, sleet, hail, and snow. My cloud droplets are too big to overcome gravity.
Infiltration causes runoff which makes water flow downhill. The water in the land's surface infiltrates because of the force of gravity. This runoff finally means that I have turned from a gas back to a liquid.
