The island of Ogygia with Calypso and Odysseus
odysseus cries on the beach as he longs for home during the day however he sleeps with calypso every night
Hermes visited Calypso in her beautifully decorated cave and told her to let Odysseus go or Zeus will punish her
Calypso tells Odysseus that he is free to go and calypso tells him she will give wine clothes water food an axe an adze and trees to cut to make a boat
Odysseus creates a full boat by himself and sets sail
Odysseus sets sail however a storm made by Posseiden hits which destroys his boat and our hero is left clinging to pieces of his boat
