  • Kate and Keller find out that Helen is deaf and blind it was very hard for them.six years passed Helen now a young girl trying to talk but she can not .They have tried many doctors but none can find a cure for her.Aunt Eve recommends a doctor

  • Helen has a doll and she wants to put it in the crib so she knocks over Mildred and she puts her dolls in. Captain Keller wants to discipline her but Kate stands up to Helen. Captain Keller finally sends a letter to Dr.Howe and he sends Annie Sullivan to teach Helen.

  • Annie got locked in a room by Helen and she punched Annie and her tooth fell out so Captain Keller had to bring a ladder up to the window to get her down . After everyone leaves Helen takes the key out of her mouth.

  • Annie's goal is to teach Helen what a word is and a what a word means. So she asks for two weeks to stay alone with Helen and Percy. After two weeks Helen is a total different person because she learned good manners and it is time for her to go back.
  • When Helen comes home for the homecoming dinner she is supposed to have manners at the table but instead she drops her fork and napkin and eats with her hand.So Helen runs upstairs while Annie chases her.While that is happening Keller is about to yell at Annie when James suddenly blocks the stairway with a chair and tells his father that Everyone is right and he is wrong .
  • So Annie takes Helen so she can refill the water pitcher and she tries to water ans she finally she says wah wah. Her parents are both very shocked and happy.Since Helen only spoke when she was little .Now she finally understood what a word means and Annie's finally happy.
