This storyboard does not have a description.
Are you on the pill?
I'm on the Patch!
The Patch? What's that?
The Patch is a small patch that is placed on your stomach, upper arm, upper back/shoulder, or buttocks. It works by slowly releasing estrogen and progestin into your body, helping to reduce the risk of pregnancy. You apply it once a week for 3 weeks, and then remove it for one week.
Wow! That means we can have unprotected sex and nothing bad will happen!
Although the patch does help with unwanted pregnancies, it doesn't fully prevent them. Also, the patch doesn't protect against STI's. All it does is reduce the likelihood of pregnancy. And, It could also cost up to $80 a month.
Wow! Where could my future partners get one?
They would need to get a prescription from their doctor, but luckily those are very easy. Then you just stop by the nearest drug store! Easy! And remember, stay informed, and healthy!
