Storyboard Text

  • Ismene, I will bury my brother. Will you help me?
  • How!? Think what Creon will do if he finds out.
  • Prologue: Antigone asks Ismene if they could both bury their brother Polyneices but Ismene denies it because the law forbids it. Antigone still does not obey Creon's law and continues her journey to bury her brother.
  • King, I swear I don't know. Believe me!
  • Who's the man that dared to break my law!
  • Scene I: Creon is announced king and demands that no one must bury Polyneices, or he will suffer. The reader knows that Antigone is the one who did it, but the characters in the play don't. This means Antigone does not care abut the consequences and continues to anger Creon.
  • Do you confess to such crime?
  • "I do. I deny nothing." (Sophocles 352)
  • King, I found the one who did it. Here!
  • Scene II: Creon finds out the truth from the help of the sentry. Antigone is found guilty and will be sent to prison. Antigone still doesn't care about her future and Ismene confesses as well.
  • Taken by a girl! What a fool!
  • Father, your decision is wrong about Antigone. Very wrong!
  • Scene III: Haimon speaks to Creon about his decision on Antigone's actions. Creon gets angry from his son and thinks that he lost his mind. Creon is still merciless on Antigone and will not forgive her anytime soon.
