Aletheia is the goddess of reality. She is a daughter of Demeter and was born when man developed imagination. Her duties include keeping everyday life in order and preventing real life and fantasy from mixing with one another.
Once, Aletheia had an affair with Apollo. She had never experienced love before and was completely infatuated with him. Aletheia didn't always feel that her job as a goddess was incredibly important, so the more that she fell in love the less she began to focus on her duties.
Since Aletheia was neglecting her duties, the world began to change. The world was as if it were something that a small child would dream about. There were castles roped in vines, beautiful princesses, knights riding the backs of horses, and even jousts. In modern day life, this time period is referred to as medieval times. There are still of traces of this event. This is why some countries still have castles, kings, and queens.
After Aletheia finally moved mankind out of the medieval era. She began to take her job a lot more seriously. She was more careful to keep the world in check and teathered to reality. She does this through watch posts. Her watch posts maintain the balance between reality and fantasy. Her posts are in the form of rainbows, and they allow her to keep an eye on the world.
Alethia also yields the power of dreams. She uses dreams to allow people to express their imaginations. This is also another way for her to monitor what people are thinking and doing.
Alethia monitors dreams and keeps everyday society in place from the top of Mount Olympus.
