  • PENELOPE IS TRYING TO TEST ODYSSEUS TO MAKE SURE THAT IT IS TRULY HIM.
  • Penelope, how have you been all these years I have been away?
  • Odysseus, I have been fine. The nurse found me to a bed to sleep on while you were away.
  • Odysseus, just to let you know, someone has moved our bed to the outside of our bedroom.
  • PENELOPE, NOW YOU HAVE MADE ME ANGRY. WHO HAS TRIED TO MOVE THE BED?
  • OUR BED IS IMPOSSIBLE TO MOVE. IT WAS BUILT BY ME AROUND A TREE!
  • NARRATION: Odysseus continues to explain how their bed was created.
  • From hearing this, Penelope stops testing Odysseus and believes it is truly him.
