  • Odysseus and his crew prepare for the sirens. The crew plug their ears and tie Odysseus to the lugger.
  • Sirens
  • Odysseus wants untied because the sirens have beautiful voices. When you get close to the sirens you can see bones and skin.
  • "Untie me!"
  • Scylla, with 12 tentacle legs, serpent necks, six heads, and a gullet for each head, eats six of Odysseus best men.
  • Odysseus and his crew arrive at Lord Helios' islnad. Odysseus suggests not to stop as a warning not to touch the cattle.
  • Sun God
  • Odysseus' crew decide to stop and they touch lord Helios' cattle and die from a thunderbolt for Zeus.
  • The theme of this story is to listen to advice and not to touch something that doesn't belong to you without asking.
