-During this part in the Odyssey, Odysseus and his men come to a cave. They meet the Cyclops and warn him and the other Cyclopes about Zeus. The Cyclops claims he really doesn't care, and does not listen to the men. More things happen, to the end coming of the crew leaving.
Odysseus and his men arrive on land, and see a cave with food,
"Zeus will avenge the unoffending guests!"
At this point Odysseus is warning the Cyclops about Zeus and then the Cyclops has an odd response.
At this point the Cyclops does not care about Zeus and considers himself to be strong & have power
"We Cyclops care not a whistle about your thundering Zeus."
The Cyclops gets irritated and eats 2 of the men.
"Squirming little puppies"
Odysseus hesitated to kill the Cyclops because they would then be stuck in the cave.
Lastly, after conflict with the Cyclops, Odysseus and his men sail on their way home.
