  • I am James Madison, 4th president of the united states!
  • Impressment and Native American Resistance
  • If you attack the Americans we'll form an allience with you.
  • Ok! But you have to provide the weapons.
  • Phase 1: Battles in the Great Lakes
  • Oliver Perry: Go defeat the British at Lake Eerie!
  • William Harrison: I killed Tecumseh and stopped the Native American Resistance.
  • I'm James Madison, 4th president of the United States! I led the US into the war of 1812!
  • Phase 2:Bombardment of Fort McHenry
  • Impressment - The British force Americans into the British navy. Native Resistance - Britain forms an alliance with the natives in U.S. territory and tells them to attack Americans with the weapons they provided.
  • Phase 3:War Hero Andrew Jackson and Battle of New Orleans
  • Andrew Jackson: I fought the British all by myself!
  • Oliver Hazard Perry commands the US navy in Lake Eerie. William Henry Harrison defeats the British at the Battle of Thames and kills Tecumseh.
  • Effects of the War
  • We are very patriotic!!
  • Britain burned down Washington DC and after the Battle of Fort McHenry Francis Scott Key wrote the star spangled banner after he saw the US flag still flying.
  • I saw the American flag still waving in the air so i decided to write a song about it!
  • In the battle of New Orleans Andrew Jackson was known as the war hero and brought patriotism throughout the country as he beat Britain. 2000 British casualties with only 71 US casualties.
  • The effects of the war was the Era of Good feelings which meant everyone felt patriotic and the increase of US manufacturing.
