Storyboard Text

  • I wonder how many ounces of water this cup could hold if its completely full
  • can you teach me?
  • sure! so the dimensions are a height of 12 and radius of 7.
  • do you not know how to find volume?
  • how do u know that's the dimensions.
  • not important. So the formula for finding the volume for a cylinder is v=3.14* r* r* h
  • ok then pluging it in is v= 3.14*7*7*12
  • Thats correct. Now solve.
  • so 3.14* 7*7*12= 1846.32
  • almost correct your forgetting one thing
  • 1846.32 cubic ounces
  • and that's all there is to finding the volume of a cylinder
  • speaking of cups wheres yours
  • ahhhhhh this is why we can't have nice things.
  • I don't know this one left me cupped
