The day my best friend left was the worst day of my life. We grew up together by the Mississippi River. We had sleepless nights and tiresome days, but the bond we build was one that will last a life time.
After she left, I began to change. My attitude was different. I became mean to my friends. I gave away my most valuable items, I changed how I look. I cut my hair, wore very light make up and just let myself loose. Ibecame a new person. This change was both internally and externally. What was happening to me? I asked myself over and over.
Losing my best friend made a big impact in my life. I grew to understand the meaning of friendship. I grew to understand love and lost. I grew to ultimately understand that change is a natural part of life and when it happens we should embrase it in a positive way. Look at me now.
