  • After James Madison wins the election for presidency, he is sworn into office on his inauguration day.
  • Madison's Inauguration
  • Without further ado James Madison is now the fourth president of the united states!
  • Madison confesses that the only way that we can stop the fude between Britain is to go to war with them for impressing our soldiers, and giving the natives guns.
  • War is declared on the British
  • Francis Scott Key is captured by the British, and is watching the war being fought across the ocean, and writes what is today the American national anthem
  • Effects of the war(industrial revolution)
  • gave proof through the night that our flag was still there oh say.....
  • The Bombardment of Fort McHenry
  • During the war with England, a huge victory for the United States happened. The leader of the battle was Andrew Jackson who became a war hero, and eventually the president.
  • Charge on the tyrants, and free our impressed soldiers !
  • Andrew Jackson becomes famous with his victory in New Orleans.
  • After two years of fighting the treaty of Ghent was signed on December 24, 1814. It stated that the lands Britain had conquered were given back to the Americans. The issues with impressment, and neutrality were not discussed event though they were the main reasons for the war.
