  • William was a great King to England, he took firm control over his own lands. He became the King of England by defeating Harold in a battle. In 1086, William made a book called "Domesday Book".
  • Edward I
  • Henry II was a good King for England. He expanded the systems of royal justice. He also laid the basis for common law and began the Jury System.
  • Domesday Book
  • John was not a really good King for England. He battled with innocent III for selecting a new Archbishop of Canterbury. He also signed the Magna Carta.

  • I King John have an announcement to make. I have signed the Magna Carta.
  • Edward summoned Parliament to approve money for his war in France.

  • The Domesday book was created in 1086 by William the Conqueror. This book contained every castle, field, and pigpen on his land. William created this book because he wanted to know his kingdom more.
  • The Magna Carta was a book or document that King John signed. This book gave his people/citizens rights, even the peasants.
