  • Weather and temperature patterns vary widely across China. In the northeast, the climate is cold and dry. Winter temperatures drop well below 0 F. Rivers there are frozen for more than half of the year. In the northwest, the deserts are very dry. But on the eastern plains of China, heavy rains fall.
  • China's geography is truly one to admire. Although, at times it may seem rough, the outcomes are to their favor. Why don't we take a look?
  • The Huang He river floods often, yet it still leaves behind a profusion amount of silt which helps the agricultural industry.
  • The tropical southeast is the wettest region. Monsoons can bring 250 inches of rain each year!
  • The Yangtze River is a large river also located towards the east of China. This river is deemed to be the largest river in Asia, and the third largest in the world.
  • Overall, the Ancient Chinese Empire truly benefitted from the geography that it was located in.
