  • "Alive in triumph, and Mercutio slain!/Away to heaven, respective lenity,/And fire-eyed fury be my conduct now.
  • Act 3 Scene 2
  • Ah weraday, he's dead, he's dead, he's dead!/We are undone, lady, we are undone.?Alack the day, he's gone, he's killed, he's dead.
  • In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare two lovers from opposing families fell in love. But they took their own lives to be together and end their families feud.
  • Act 3 Scene 3
  • Ha, banishment? Be merciful, say "death"./For exile hath more terror in his look,/Much more than death. Do not say "banishment/"
  • During this scene, Tybalt comes in hot-headed and angry. He wants to fight Romeo and challenges him, but Romeo refuses. Mercurio takes his place and dies, so out of fury, Romeo kills Tybalt for his dead friend.
  • Act 3 Scene 4
  • In this scene, the house of Capulet find out that Tybalt has been killed by Romeo. The nurse rushes to tell Juliet the news and Juliet thinks that Romeo was killed, but soon learns it was Tybalt that was slain.
  • Act 3 Scene 5
  • Mary, my child, early next Thursday morn/the gallant, young, and noble gentleman,
  • In this scene, Romeo is told what his punishment is for killing Tybalt. He has been exiled from Verona not killed. But Romeo takes this good news as awful because he would rather be dead than not with Juliet.
  • In this scene, Paris comes to Lord and Lady Capulet asking for their daughters hand in marriage. He thinks that the resent events are the perfect opportunity.
  • These times of woe effort no times to woo---/Madam, good night. Commend me to your daughter.
  • In this scene, Lord and Lady Capulet tell Juliet about her arranged marriage with Paris. Juliet cannot say anything about her secret marriage with Romeo, so she doesn't know what to do about the arrangement.
  • He shall not make me there a joyful bride!
