  • The water in this fountain is a great example of a liquid. When a solid melts, the particles increase in movement When ice melts, it becomes a liquid again. Any object can melt at the right temperature
  • +Hot Temperatures=
  • Dry ice melting is an amazing example of sublimation. Dry ice is frozen Carbon Dioxide (CO2), and when it melts, it returns back to a gaseous state.
  • There are 2 types of vaporization, boiling and evaporation. In this case, the water is boiling. In evaporation, only the surface is vaporized. In boiling, the liquid is vaporized from bottom to top.
  • Rain is one of the most universal example of condensation. Water droplets in clouds release once the water vapor cools and condenses.
