  • "Speak the speech, I pray you, as i pronounced it to you...It out-Herods Herod. Pray you Avoid it" (iii.ii.1-13).
  • "I warrant your honor"(iii.ii.14).
  • "Thoughts black, hands apt, drugs fit, and thy time...On wholesome life usurp immediately" (iii.ii.240-245).
  • "Lights, lights, lights!" (iii.ii.255).
  • "Give me some light! Away!" (iii.ii.254).
  • "Give o'er the play" (iii.ii.253).
  • "How fares my lord?" (iii.ii.252).
  • Hamlet wanted to have actors play out "The Murder of Gonzago", in front of his uncle in order to reveal his guilt, with a murder that resembles one of his uncles own acts.
  • "He will come straight...Pray you, be round with him"(iii.iv.1-5).
  • "Now, mother, whats the matter"(iii.iv.8).
  • [Pours the poison into the sleeper's ears.] P. King goes to rest after his wife tells him if she became a widow, she'd never marry again. Then Lucianus, His Nephew sneaks to pour poison in his ears.

  • Hamlets threatening actions lead the queen to believe her life may be at risk and she screams for help. Polonius begins to panic and reveals his presence causing Hamlet to attack and kill him.
  • Hamlet reveals the truth to his mother and tells her she is not to sin again with the king and that he is to kill him. The ghost appears momentarily. The queen agrees with her son and Hamlet leaves with the body.
