If something goes wrong when the ribosome is reading the mRNA then the protein will not come out correctly and it will not be able to work.
The first step in making a protein is unzipping the DNA strand
In this step an enzyme comes through and reads one of the sides of the DNA and it creates an mRNA strand
This process is called Transcription
The DNA then zips it self back up and the mRNA strand can then leave the nucleus of that cell and find a ribosome
When the mRNA and the ribosome find each other the ribosome will read the mRNA and attaches the amino acids to make a protein
tRNA to get the correct amino acids the ribosome needs so it can and will create the Protein
