Storyboard Text

  • Hey there, do you know where to find water for my cub?
  • Well hydrology is the study of water and it's interactions with the landscape.
  • Hey there, do you know where to find water for my cub?
  • Well, there falls 6 inches of water in November every year. But there should be some in the Tuolumne River.
  • Finally we found water, I guess there does fall a bit of precipitation, the action or process of precipitation a substance from a solution.
  • Most snow accumulates above 6000 ft in Yosemite in the winter.
  • The snow in the Sierra forms a natural storage resovoir.
  • So first precipitation comes down, then the groundwater recharges, and it flows down stream and goes in the ocean and then it evaporates and then it all starts over again.
