  • Mrs. Emerson you worked with court and revered the decision of the court in favor of you.
  • I have done nothing of the sort YOU STUPID SCOTTS!
  • We got them they will have to work as SLAVES!
  • States' Rights Box
  • I am Ben Franklin I think that States Rights is useless because it does makes you feel like you state or region is more important than your nation.
  • I am Hudson Raliegh and I think that States Rights is good because it makes the South feel better about our state rather than our country.
  • Compromise Box
  • No! Please do not take me back I will do anything.
  • Stop! I have to take you down South because of The Fugitive Slave Act.
  • The Dred Scott case allowed the dispute over slavery to intensify because it caused the North to disapprove of the Souths actions towards the Scotts.

  • Sectionalism and Nullification played into States Rights because when the South refused to accept that slavery should not be used they started to secede and made the Confederate States of America meaning they believed in slavery and the Union did not want slavery.

  • The Missouri Compromise and The Fugitive slave Act were made to ease tension between the Northern and Southern States.

  • The Civil War started because the South did not want to give up their right to own slaves because mostly the South's jobs were agricultural. Most people were at the heart of the slavery because the South wanted slavery and the North did not.

  • Georgia was involved in the debate because Georgia's citizens thought half and half on secession because they still wanted slavery but, they might of thought this is not the way o do it.
  • The Southern States wanted to secede after the Election of 1860 because they were afraid that Abraham was going to take away their slavery.
