Conflict-Socs vs. Greasers
This impacted Ponyboy because it was hard for him to be away from his family for so long. Another reason is he could have made the church catch fire because of his cigarettes, which could kill him and Johnny. Also this affects him because there is no one around and he still feels scared. This impacts Ponyboy because when Ponyboy and Johnny go back to the church and they see it on fire, he is affected because he felt scared there but he was where he and Johnny could hide from the police.
Ponyboy is impacted by the fight that goes on in the park. This impacts him because at the beginning of the fight Dally comes to help, this is important to Ponyboy because he missed Dally. This also physically impacts him because he gets hurt a lot, and he gets kicked in the head and gets a minor concussion. Another thing that impacts him is when his friends in the fight with him get hurt because he cares about his friends.
Cherry impacts Ponyboy in different ways at different times. This is because when she sees him at school she is mean to him or ignores him, this makes him think she is a typical Soc. Another reason is that when she gives greasers a chance because she says "Things are ruff all over." Another reason why she impacts Ponyboy is because she hates it when people fight and that makes Ponyboy realize that fighting is wrong.
