  • Act 1: Exposition
  • Well then, saint, let lips do what hands do. I'm praying for you to kiss me. Please grant my prayer so my faith doesn't turn to despair.
  • Saints don't move, even when they grant prayers.
  • Act 2: Rising Action
  • But wait, what's the light in the window over there? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
  • Oh, my!
  • Act 2: Rising Actions
  • Sir, I'll tell her that you protest to her, which I think is the gentlemanly thing to do..
  • Tell her to devise a plan to get out of her house and come to confession at the abbey this afternoon.
  • In act 1, Juliet and Romeo pledge their first line of love to one another.
  • Act 3: Turning Point/ Climax
  • In Act 2, Romeo over hears Juliet's confessions.
  • Act 4: Falling Action
  • In Act 2, The friar reluctantly agrees to marry Romeo and Juliet in hopes of ending their family fued.
  • Act 5: Resolution
  • In the turning point of the story, Tybalt kills Mercutio and Romeo kills Tybalt to avenge his death. Because of this Romeo is exiled to Mantau.
  • Juliet drinks sleeping potion so she will appear dead to her relative so she can finally be with her true love Romeo. Soonly, Romeo finds his Juliet "dead".
  • Romeo drinks a real poison because he believes Juliet is really dead. In this dramatic ending Juliet wakes up to find her true love dead so she kills herself with his own dagger.
