Storyboard Text

  • More evidence of different past climate can be from fossils. For example, coral reefs need a specific temperature, depth of water, and light to live. If their conditions change, they will die. Therefore, if you find coral reefs, it is to be estimated the enviroment they lived in, assuming they needed the same circumstances to survive as they do today.
  • One more example is landscape. As glaciers moved very slowly down river valleys, they would often leave a semicircular shape. Sometimes, glaciers pick up debris and scratch the earth's floor. Also, when the glacier ice melts, the huge pieces of rock they have been lugging around are deposited. If these signs are around, this proves climate was cooler in the past.
  • That was cool! Except the fact that climate change is a terrible thing! As Christians, what are we supposed to do?
  • Well there are many Bible texts that discuss our role in creation. Like Genesis 2:15, where it says, "The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it."
  • So God put us in this world to work His world!
  • What about Genesis 1:26, where it says, "Then God said, 'Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.'"
  • Good!
  • I've got one more! In Numbers 35:33 it says,"You shall not pollute the land in which you live, for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except by the blood of the one who shed it."
  • So we shouldn't shed blood in this world! The only person that can is Jesus!
  • Hey, how come YOU get the last one!
  • This is my story, remember!?
  • I've got one more!
