By smuschett, Updated
In this scene the Watsons are getting ready to leave for Flint
So their neighbour is stopping to say goodbye and gives Joetta a gift. She realises it is an angel with different features from her but is still polite and says thank you
Joetta and her mother are sitting on Joetta's bed and talking about the angel while her brother Kenneth eavesdrops
Joetta does not like the gift because she says that the angel looks nothing like her because it is white. So she decides to hide it in her sock drawer.
