  • I bought the Louisiana territory from the Napoleons. I need to find Someone that will go research about the new place.
  • Lewis! I choose you to explore the Louisiana Territory. You may choose someone else to be part of this journey. You will need to map out the Missouri River and explore the river.Also need to find out a passable route to the Pacific ocean. Document any new plant and animals you have found. Remember to make alliances with the Indians.
  • As you say Mr.Jefferson I am going to choose William Clark.
  • I can believe it has been couple of months since we left St.Louis,Missouri. We already met the Yankton Sioux,Teton Sioux,Mandan, and Hidatsa .
  • Lewis! Can you believe we left in May of 1804,and fall is already here.
  • Lewis and Clark built Fort Mandan on the Missouri River.Both were preparing for winter.

  • Sacajawea would you like to be the interpreter to help us on this journey?
  • Let´s send a boat full of our examples,and specimen we have found.
  • Sacajawea had led them to the northern parts of the Missouri river. they were able to find species like the grizzly bear,the Lewis woodpeckar and etc.
  • Yes! Mr.Jefferson had wanted us to send back a the examples.
  • Both the explorers were excited to come home,and were happy to say they completed Jefferson´s goal.Lewis and Clark decided to split up when they were coming back home. Lewis and Clark did this because they wanted to cover more land. On September 23,1806 there expedition ended.

  • For all your hard work you get 1600 acres of land.Lewis you are named the governor of Louisiana Territory. Clark you are the given the post of Indian agent for the West.
