Storyboard Text

  • Sure hon, you have nothing to worry about. Its really not that hard.
  • Hey mom, can you help me adjust a recipe to make 120 cookies for the 7th grade classes??
  • I learned in school that you can double or triple a fraction make more of something. Maybe we can start off with that?
  • Might have to rethink that. There's nothing left for any cookies. Go with your brother to the store and get everything you need.
  • OKAY?
  • Yep! I'm sure we've got everything we need. Plus, mom put it on a list so I wouldn't forget
  • Did you get everything we need??
  • Thank You. Have a nice day.
  • Now, since you want to make 5 times as much of one recipe, you need to have more of certain things.
  • Ok, so I'll get started and then when I'm done I'll put them on the silver platter.
  • I did what you told me and multiplied all the measurements by 5. The baking soda was 1 1/2, the milk was 5 cups, the eggs was also 5, the flour was 5 cups, and the oats was 10 tsp.
  • Wow. You did all that in your head?? That's great! Looks like you didn't need my help after all.
