Storyboard Text

  • So far in the story of "The Host" by Stephanie Meyer, Wanderer was given a task. She was assigned to find two humans named Jared and Jamie, so she could take them to the seekers and be given a host. Though as the story progresses, and the more memories Melanie gives, Wanderer changes her mind. Now she intends to find Jared and Jamie, and possibly protect them. She is currently still unsure as to what she is intending to do with the two boys.
  • Right now, Wanderer and Melanie find themselves in the desert, where they think that Jared and Jamie are hiding. They follow a map made by a man named Uncle Jeb, though along the way, they become lost and unsure if they will ever find the two boys and the uncle. Wanderer has a worrying thought at the beginning of their journey, what will the seeker do when she figures out that Wanderer has betrayed her? But she's not worrying about that right now, she's more concerned as to when they will arrive at their destination.
  • Wanderer is not described a lot, all we know is that she has dark skin, a yellow shirt so far, dark hair, and dark eyes. Though now that she is a host, the eyes change a small bit, it is not described how they are changed. She is a strong willed girl, but has a feisty temper that she is still learning how to control, since in her previous lives, she was not encountered with such an emotion. Wanderer also has a few problems, she has an issue with trusting people, usually Souls {Hosts} are social and live close together. Wanderer is more secluded, which results in trust problems fro her. She is usually a rule follower, and will do what she is told, but since she has seen the memories Melanie gave, she is more tempted into protecting Jamie and Jared, than giving them away to the seeker. This secludes her, since she only relies on Melanie for guidance, she is alone in the desert with hardly any social skills and a voice in her head.
