The annual bull run in Spain is an odd and gruesome cultural tradition that many seek meaning behind.
Many runners are gored while participating and are cheered on by nearby watchers.
At this event, citizens traditionally dressed in clear white are chased by enormous bulls down thin, narrow streets.
By the end of the event, many people either leave in an ambulance, or a body bag. The day of the run is a very busy time for medical services.
The tired bulls then soon return to their farms after a long day of unknowingly goring citizens in the cultural event.
There is no known meaning behind this event.
