Act 2 Scene 2: Claudius sends his guards after Hamlet to make sure what has caused his change. He wants them to spend time with him to gain his trust in order to find out what is bothering him.
Act 2 Scene 2: Gertrude was thinking to herself about the real reason that Hamlet is different.The reason being for her remarriage and death of her past husband.
Act 2 Scene 2: Claudius is talking to Polonius about the reason for Hamlet's change is because Ophelia is declining his love.
Act 3 Scene 4: Hamlet becomes aggressive, causing Gertrude to cry out for help. Hamlet becomes suspicious that someone is behind the curtain, and so he stabs and kills Polonius.
Act 3 Scene 1: Gertrude tells Ophelia that she hopes her and Hamlet can patch up their rocky past and get on with their lives.
Act 3 Scene 1: Hamlet considers life and death at the same time. His depression is severing, he is losing his mind. Every possible thought is entering his mind. He begins going mad.
