  • It's time we the Texans have rights! We must rebel against the Mexicans!
  • Fredonian Rebellion-1826
  • Finally!

  • Mier y Teran Report - 1828
  • I think it's great that we are getting rights
  • I am voting for Santa Anna I hope we get privileges
  •  The Law of April 6th, 1830 - 1830
  • No more Anglos
  • Make the Anglos pay taxes
  • And definitely no more slaves 
  • Benjamin Edwards made the brave decision to rebel against the Mexican government and proclaimed himself the leader of the Republic of Fredonia.
  • Santa Anna Becomes Dictator of Mexico - 1832
  • I am glad to be the Mexican president but I will not make the rights I said I would.
  • Wait What?!?!
  • Teran and Mier report about what was going on in Texas and how the Anglos are demanding  are demanding privileges and authority.
  • Sam Houston Arrives in Texas - 1832
  • Sam Houston for general!
  • Sam Houston will make a great general for the Anglos
  • The law of April 6th was made so the Mexicans could make sure they still had control over the Anglos because the ratio of Anglos to Mexicns was 1:10 , and the Anglos were bringing in slaves which the Meicans didn't want. The Mexicans also wanted Angos to start pay taxes.

  • Santa Anna ran for president for Mexic promising the sttes, iclding Texas states' rights but when he did become president  he lied about all of that and instead became a dictator of Mexico.
  • Sam Houston was already popular before he arrived in Texas ad soon was welcomed by the Anglos, Stephen F. Austin feared that Sam came to start a war with Mexico but soon ebough Sam was first pick to be the general of the Texas army even though he had had no inention of becoming part of a rebellion.

  • The Anglos tried to prove to the Mexican govrnment and Santa Anna that they were still loyal.
  • We should write a letter to the Mexicans saying that we are still loyal to them
