  • Hollis vs. Mustard Lady
  • Hollis blames herself from when she was at the house with Steven. She blames herself for Steven and the Old Man fighting, for the car wreck, and for running away
  • Hollis vs. Trusting People
  • Josie is very forgetful. She's forgot to put gas in the car, look before crossing the street, where Beatrice was, where she was, and even who Hollis was. Josie's clumsiness gets worse every day.
  • Steven vs. Old Man
  • Hollis and the Mustard Lady don't get along very well. First, the mustard lady wants to have Hollis come to a new foster home. the Mustard lady also wants to change who Hollis is.
  • As you know Hollis runs away from most foster homes. the reason Hollis does this is because she doesn't trust them. When she ran away from Steven's house it was because she felt like she was causing trouble.
  • Steven and the old man always fight. they fought when Hollis was and wasn't there. Steven always argues about driving the truck, and the Old man fights about Steven not cleaning up after himself.
