Once in a far away land, there was a young girl named Diana who wanted to have a normal life.
She was the daughter of an evil king who did not care for anyone but himself. But even though her father was cold and uncaring, Diana was the opposite. She saw all of the evil that her father did and wanted to make up for her father’s deeds.
The king’s taxes were always too high for the peasants to pay, leaving them with no money to buy any food. So, whenever she could, Diana would take all the bread in the castle and trick her father into thinking it was stale so that she could distribute it to the peasants in secret.
However, Diana’s father eventually found out about her giving the bread to the peasants and, as punishment, kept her locked up in the castle.
This caused Diana to grow up for the most part alone and sad. Her only source of happiness was from her hobby of stargazing. Diana would look up to the stars for hours upon hours and marveled at their beauty.
One day, Diana discovered that her father planned to offer her hand in marriage to an evil prince of a neighboring land. This was not what Diana wanted and even though she pleaded her father not to go through with it, he remained unfazed.
