Troy and Carver
Alex, Belinda Troy, and Glen Carver boarded a plane to Skeleton Key, posing as a family so that there would be no suspicion that they were coming to investigate.
They arrived at the hotel and Alex, while messing around with a Gameboy, figured out it wasn't a toy at all but a Geiger counter. Alex then realized they weren't there for surveillance; they were looking for a nuclear bomb.
He confronted his "mom and dad", who explained that the secrecy was for his own safety. Once the bomb was found they would leave and report it. They told him they would be going diving that night into a secret entrance that Sarov didn't know of.
Carver and Troy went diving to explore the entrance and told Alex they shouldn't be long. After nearly an hour passed, Alex became worried and asked the sailor if he had more equipment. He was given the gear and dived in search of the two agents.
Alex reached the entrance and saw the problem. After a tough fight with the Great White shark guarding the entrance, Alex managed to make it back to the boat only to realize that Sarov's men had ambushed him.
Sarov's assistant, Conrad, interrogated Alex. When he refused to speak, Conrad sent him to the crushing blocks, which were once used to juice sugar canes. Frightened, Alex told him everything but was still sent to die. He was rescued at the last second by Sarov.
