They have sailed back to Greece, given up, we have won!
We shall not dare bring it in!
The Greeks set sail, they made a big show of sorrow to show the Trojans they were defeated. They left behind a mystery gift for the Trojans, a big wooden horse. They left it outside they gates of Troy and sailed away, but the Trojans didn't know the mysterious plan Odysseus came up with.
"They are gone! We have won the war!" said one of the Trojans looking out of the city walls. One Trojan found a wooden horse outside the gates . They had to decide what to do with it.
"We shall not take this wooden horse into the city walls." said one of the Trojan priests. He said this to King Priam. The people were shocked of the words. They thought otherwise. Soon after they rolled it into the city.
We have won!!!!!
Once they left it they went into the city and all the Trojans celebrated with victory against the Greeks. They had that celebration which lasted for hours.
When the city of Troy was dark and quiet, with all the people silently sleeping, the Greeks most courageous warriors snuck out of the horse and started their attack on Troy. Their plan had worked out perfectly.
Then they killed people and lit the city of Troy on fire. The Greeks have defeated the Trojans and won the war. Then they sailed away back to Greece, defeating the Trojans.
