Storyboard Text

  • We're almost there my dudes.
  • Yeah, no, you're about to get destroyed by me boy Zeus.
  • Really Zeus?
  • R.I.P My Boy The Ship
  • Odysseus is sailing on his ship before before it hits the fan and Zeus destroys him. (pg. 1081, line 940-945)
  • You are now invisible mein dude.
  • This part is basically stating telling that Scylla is nearby, no real textual evidence just some nice build up
  • Where is Odysseus!?
  • What's an Oddyseus?
  • Zeus shoots down a lightning bolt. R.I.P My Boy The Ship. Not only is his boy The Ship dead, but so are his men. (pg. 1081, line 948-949)
  • ......And that's what happened.
  • K, Here's a ship. Go home my dude.
  • Zeus then makes Odysseus invisible so he can get by Scylla and not die like my boy The Ship after being flung from a tree. (pg. 1081-1082, lines 983-988)
  • Scylla cannot see Odysseus as he swims by, this is because he's invisible after Zeus made him so. (pg. 1082, lines 983-989)
  • We now find Odysseus, nine days later, telling his story to Alcinous and his wife, ending the first part of the Odyssey. (pg 1082, lines 994-997)
