- Oh Maman, what has become of me? Once I was your Antonia but now I am Angelica the Third! No longer a beautiful Anglet beauty but now a new Tourton! I shall die of sadness and lonliness!
- Please don't cry!
- Where are you?
- Up here. I'll come down. Stand back. Who are you?
- I am Antonia, but now Angelica. I was sent to wed the prince, who is out hunting. Everything I know has been stripped away.
- I'm Louis. I'm one of the noble sons of the palace. My family is paying tribute, but thankfully I could leave. It was so boring! Would you like me to cheer you up? I've been told I'm a great dancer!
