Power is divided between the state governments and the central governemnt. The line in the middle of the image represnets the division of power and the crown at the top represents the power and that it is equal, and the people represnets the representatives.
A single representative, the president is elected into office. The legislative and executive branches are coequal and the seperation of powers can be found in the Constitution. The man represnts the preident and the constitution represnts the seperation of powers.
A group of representatives are elected to represent the people and carry through their ideas and needs. This puts the power in the people's hands. The man and woman represent the group of representatives and their thoughts represent them thinking of what the people want.
There is only one central government that holds the power. It is an opposite of a federal government. The people and the scene represent only one government and the crown shows that the one central government holds the power.
There is a legislative branch that chooses and haves control over the executive branch. The top group represents the legislative branch with the crown to represents its power and the bottom group represents the executive branch.
The power is held by a group of qualified citizens who govern the people. Only a small percent of the population is represented. The top group represent the people who govern and the crown shows their power over the people, and the circle and arrow represent ho much of the population is represented.
