  • The two brothers grew up with no dad. They taught each other everything and did everything together. It all took place in Florida, summer of 1977.
  • Climax
  • The main conflict of the story is that the two brothers get separated after their mother dies by finding out that their father killed her. The boys then are sent to different foster homes and finally meet up with each other later in life.
  • Falling Action
  • The two boys were outback playing and all of a sudden they hear a gunshot and they both run inside to see their mother on the ground died. They don't know what to do so they just start crying and crying until the police show up to help them.
  • Resolusion
  • The two brothers get separated after their mother died, and they both go to different foster homes.
  • When the boys are separated, they were sad and angry at the same time because they didn't get to be with each other. So they wrote each other letters each day. That way they can tell each other everything they do.
  • After 10 years of being separated, the brothers finally meet up and decide to live together for awhile until they can get there own house and so they just stay together to catch up on their lives and everything else.
