I'm so confused... can somebody tell me what domain is?????
Don't be confused! Domain is just all of the x-values by which a function is defined. These values determine the real y-values.
Well if that's what domain is.. how do you find it?
It's simple. The domain is all real values unless there is a restriction. If the x-value is in the denominator of a fraction, the expression it can't equal zero.
Is that all? I think I get it now!
Well, if you're trying to find the domain of an even root, just remember that the expression under the radical must reduce to a number greater than or equal to zero. Now you can find domain!
