  • The Lost Hero
  • Physical Description
  • Strong Personality Trait
  • Piper in the novel the Lost Hero by Rick Riordan first appears on the bus holding hands with Jason.
  • Additional Character Trait
  • Piper has wavy brow hair that is uneven and eyes that can change from blue to green. "her chocolate brown hair was choppy and uneven, with thin strands braided down the sides. She wore no make-up like she was trying to to draw attention to herself, but it didn't work. She was seriously pretty."(Riordan 4) Piper is a girl who is very pretty but doesn't exactly know it or draw attention to herself.
  • How Character is Impacted by the Confilct
  • Piper is very caring. "But Piper kept her eyes on Jason, like she couldn't decide whether to be hurt or worried. 'Did you hit your head or something? You really don't know who you are?'" (Riordan 7) This shows that she won't be distracted when someone she cares about is hurt.
  • Dynamic Character
  • Throughout the novel another character trait Piper can have is patience. Since Jason has amnesia, she has to be patient with him and not push him or anything no matter how badly she wants to.
  • Piper has as very tough decision in the novel. She has to choose between her friends or her very own father. “‘To betray that foolish boy Valdez, who irritated you and is now hiding secrets from you? To give up a boyfriend you never really had? Is that more important than your own father?’” (Riordan 235-236) This impacted her a lot because she has to choose between people she cares about.
  • In the novel "The Lost Hero" by Rick Riordan, the character Piper Mclean would be a dynamic character. She would be a dynamic character because throughout the story she starts to change and grow more stronger and learns more throughout her adventure Jason and Leo.
