On Violet's first day of school, at lunch she meets a few friends who want her to come hang out with them tonight at the girl's, Naya's house with her boyfriend Ashton. Violet agrees and accepts the invatation.
That night, Naya is talking about her love for the woods, and suggests Violet, Ashton, and her should go out tonight to see the beautiful site. Violet is unsure because she has barely met her two new friends, and still isn't sure if she can trust them or not, but she decides to go anyways.
to join in on their late-night activities. Now even Ashton is unaware if this even his real Naya, she has never acted this way before, especially around him.
While on their way to the woods, Violet checks her phone that has 3 missed calls from her parents and that the time is already 9:30. She explains to Naya how she must be home now to get ready for the next day, and so her parents do not worry about her. Naya refuses to let Violet go. Violet is now unaware if she had made the right choice
Now at the woods, Violet looses her two 'friends' who had come with her to the woods, or is even contemplating they have left her alone on purpose. She starts to complain to herself how stupid she was for deciding to come on this trip with people she barely knows.
While trying to find her way back to the people she had came to where she is now lost at with, she finds a snake her way to. She panics but just on time Ashton comes and leads her to the way out the woods. She is confused.
Violet is still very confused when they find their way out, wondering what happened to Naya. Ashton explains everything to her and says Naya had killed herself on her way of leaving Violet because she hated the idea of what she was doing, but she couldn't stop herself from doing it. After a long conversation, Ashton and Violet start walking home, preparing for the outcome of everyone's reaction to this tragic event.
