Dystopia In Anthem.
Collectivism In Anthem.
Individualism In Anthem
"We love you"
"It is dark here. The flame of the candle stands still in the air. Nothing moves in this tunnel save our hand on the paper. We are alone here under the earth. It is a fearful word, alone"(Rand 17).
"So we went in to the home of the Street Sweepers. It was a gray house on a narrow street"(Rand 27). An other part of anthem that expresses collectivism is how there are no singular pronouns used in this book.
"Today, the golden one stopped suddenly and said; "We love you""(Rand 86). This shows that liberty and equality want to brake free from their oppression.
