Storyboard Text

  • I don't feel very well but I don't know what is wrong; do you?
  • I am pretty sure that you are starting to go through the cell cycle, and that this is completely normal.
  • WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME!! WHY AM I GETTING SO BIG AND BASICALLY DOUBLING MY SIZE!
  • You will be fine, again this is normal and you will be back to normal soon enough; just calm down.
  • DOTS, DOTS, AND MORE DOTS!!! HELP ME!
  • These dots that you are seeing are called chromosomes, and they are helping you to complete the cell cycle, so this will soon be over.
  • Interphase; Gap 1- Normal cell growth and functions are also normal.
  • Doctor please help me, the chromosomes are now in the middle of my face!
  • Interphase; Synthesis, Gap 2- Additional growth, and DNA replication.
  • Yes this is, it will be better soon though.
  • Is this normal?
  • Prophase- The chromosomes start to appear, and are able to be seen.
  • I am splitting into 2, but I feel better, thanks doc!
  • No problem, now you know what will happen when this happens again. The process is almost done, have a great day!
  • Metaphase- Chromosomes are lined in the middle on the metaphase plate.
  • Anaphase- The chromosomes are separated and split into 2.
  • Telophase- The cells are separating, but they are still in the same membrane.
