Linda crawled onto her brother Frederick's bed. He silently stared at the ceiling, not making a sound. Linda, desperate for World War 2 to end and convinced her father was too old to fight in it, tried to find a job where she could work and earn money. With her brother on her side, she took a test to educate a private group of children (all in the same family). This test was difficult for adults--nobody thought she would pass it. But based on her brilliant mind, she was able to get a job. But the income wasn't enough for her family, but as she worked, the money doubled every hour! Her brother also helped her with the job--so they could double their already doubled income! So, she was able to help her family's poor financial situation.
WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY FOR THEM, MARY!
They're only children!

Freda, don't be rude.
