Storyboard Text

  • Odysseus and his men land on the island of Aeolia.
  • Aeolus, God of the Winds helps Odysseus by giving him a bag of westerly winds to guide him home.
  • DO NOT OPEN THE GIFT FROM AEOLUS!
  • Odysseys' men are angry because they think the bag is holding treasure.
  • Once the men disobey the order, and open the bag, a tempest is released that blows them off course, back to Aeolia.
  • Because they didn't follow Aeolus' instructions, he believes that Odysseus is cursed by the gods, and refuses to help again.
