Storyboard Text

  • What?
  • I think we should break up.
  • What? Why
  • I just don’t think we're right for each other anymore
  • But, why? Is it something I did? Is because I haven’t been spending a lot of time with you? I know I have been busy these past weeks but I promise after this week-
  • You promise what? That you’ll be less busy. That you’ll make time for me. I am tired of the “I make time for you” and the “just one more week.”
  • I stood there, looking at her as she stared back at me with sad puppy dog brown eyes, not understanding.
  • I am tired of it and I just can’t anymore. I am sorry but its time I moved on.
  • But,-
  • She looked away and walked to the table. She reached down to mess with the papers on the table. Her hands gracefully straighten the papers into a neat pile.
  • No buts. I’ll be back tomorrow to collect my stuff.
  • They then moved to mess with the salt and pepper together and pushed in a dining table chair. Her favorite coat was on that chair. Her hands unconsciously smooth down the shoulders. I could sense the nervous energy surrounding her.
  • She put her hand to her head and sighed. I could her the tiredness in her voice. Her hands moved to take the coat off the chair. She put the coat, a nice ruby red color that fit her, on. She took her hair out and started to button it.
  • She said as she walked pass me and went out the door.
  • I stood there, staring straight ahead. At the spot she just left. The details of the kitchen started to blur as I tried to keep the tears back. ‘How could this happen?, I thought as I slipped to the floor, head in my hands, as my whole world fell apart.
