Storyboard Text

  • *remembers previous life with his wife*
  • You're talking crazy, please don't go.
  • Flashback...
  •
  • You can't protect us! I should have done this a long time ago, but now you have two bullets left and nothing else. Sooner or later, they will catch us and kill us!
  • The boy and the man are walking down the road for years. The weather is cold, the air is dirty, and it is dark and gloomy.
  • One thing I can tell you is that you wont survive for yourself, the fight is over. Will you atleast tell him bye?
  • Flashback...
  • I cannot do this alone. Please just wait till morning...
  • The father lays down and has a flashback about the pre-apocalyptic life that he shared with his wife. Then he wished that somehow he kept his wife in his and his son's life.
  • Flashback...
  •
  • During this flashback, the father remembers the argument he had with his wife about her leaving them for good. She knew there was no hope left and she wanted to leave before things got worse. He tried to get her to stay but she refused.
  • As she leaves, he begs her to stay. She leaves the two bullets in the gun for the father and the son just in case harder times come. She leaves without saying goodbye to her son because she can't handle the pain.
  • His wife was gone into the night. He remembered the time he taught her how to use an obsidian rock to harm someone. He felt at blame because now she would use it on herself. His son asked the next morning if she was really gone, and he said yes.
  • The father and son continue walking the next morning. The father is still upset after the sad flashback he had of his wife leaving them and dying. He knows there is no hope left but he keeps on pushing for his son.
